The West African Development Bank (BOAD) is the common development finance institution of the member countries of the West African Monetary Union (WAMU). The objective of the BOAD is to promote the development of the WAMU Member States and to contribute to the achievement of the economic integration in West Africa. Last week, a backstopping team of B&S Europe was in Lomé, Togo (where the BOAD headquarters are located) for the kick-off of an EU-funded project to support the institution.

A seminar on Competition Enforcement in Insurance Sector was organized in Tbilisi today, in the framework of the EU funded technical assistance project “Support to the Georgian Competition Agency,” implemented by B&S Europe consortium. 

The objective of the seminar was to discuss specific issues relate to co-insurance, insurance pools and tying practices with officials from Competition Agency of Georgia, representatives of Georgian insurance companies, insurance associations, Insurance State Supervision Service. 

JAMAICA | EVENTS | High level meeting to discuss the future of Caribbean-EU partnership

Today in Kingston (Jamaica), Commissioner Mimica is co-hosting with Hon. Kamina Johnson Smith, Jamaican MFA, a high level meeting to exchange views on the content and the structure of the future Caribbean-EU partnership foreseen by the agreed framework of the Post-Cotonou Agreement.
