NORTH MACEDONIA | Debating Europe with high school students

Starting in late 2019 and last 8 June 2020, Europe House (EUH) in North Macedonia brought the EU closer to high school students all across the country and neighboring regions, through a series of debates moderated by the Youth Educational Forum (MOF). Over 16 debates, approximately 350 students got the chance to learn about and understand better the EU.

On the UN International Day for the Elimination of Sexual Violence in Conflict, we reaffirm our commitment to protecting the victims of sexual violence by remembering our 2019 Social Micro Project. Over 12 months, the project supported 80 surgeries performed on women and girls victims of sexual violence in Eastern Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC).

The year 2020 will symbolise the conclusion of the second reform cycle of  of the Moldovan Police service, which saw an increase to as high as 39.5% in the citizens’ confidence in the police. Part of a wider communication effort, this represents the highest level of confidence since Moldova gained its independence.
